1. About these Terms
These Terms govern your access to the Phoenix Romania website, community hub, connected SCP: Secret Laboratory servers, applications, shop, leaderboards, clips and related services (together, the “Services”). The Services are operated by the Phoenix Romania community administration (“Phoenix Romania”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, linking Steam, signing in or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account independently. If applicable law permits use below that age only with parental authorisation, you must have that authorisation. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
A verified Steam identity may be required to create or use an account. One person may not use multiple accounts to evade sanctions, manipulate rankings, obtain duplicate rewards or mislead staff. Google sign-in is available only for an already registered matching email where enabled.
3. Community conduct
You must not harass, threaten, discriminate against or impersonate others; publish unlawful, malicious or privacy-invasive material; cheat, exploit bugs, automate interactions, manipulate statistics or interfere with infrastructure; distribute malware, phishing or unsolicited advertising; evade moderation; or use the Services in breach of Steam, Discord, Google, YouTube, TikTok, SCP: Secret Laboratory or other applicable third-party terms.
Server-specific and Discord rules form part of these Terms. Moderators may remove content, reverse rewards, restrict features, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the community, investigate abuse or enforce rules. Serious cases may be reported to relevant platforms or authorities.
4. User content
You retain rights you hold in clips, applications, posts and other submissions. You grant Phoenix Romania a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that content solely to operate, moderate and promote the community. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and that your submission does not infringe another person’s rights. You may request removal, subject to legal, security and evidentiary retention requirements.
5. Coins, shop and digital benefits
“Coins” and other site balances are limited, revocable digital features with no cash value unless expressly stated otherwise. They are not electronic money, deposits or investments and may not be sold or transferred outside authorised functionality. Product descriptions control what is provided. Statutory consumer rights, where applicable, are not excluded. Fraud, chargebacks made in bad faith or exploitation may result in suspension and reversal of associated benefits.
6. Availability and changes
The Services may be updated, interrupted or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage of user content, a specific player count or preservation of rankings. We may revise these Terms prospectively and will publish the updated date; material changes may require renewed acceptance.
7. Intellectual property
Intellectual-property ownership and open-source notices are described in the Copyright & AI Notice, which forms part of these Terms. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by Northwood Studios, Valve, Discord, Google, YouTube, TikTok or the SCP Wiki is implied.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phoenix Romania is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of virtual progress, third-party conduct or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excludes mandatory consumer rights.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Romanian law, without depriving EEA consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Disputes should first be raised through the official Phoenix Romania support or Discord ticket channel. Privacy matters may be sent to scp@pxn.ro.
